TEACHING PRACTICE PHASE II. This is the last week of our second‑phase teaching practice. On Friday, we conducted a recitation program for English and awarded prizes to the students. Before stepping out of the school, I collected all the data required for the mini‑project and also collected the certificate after completing the 70‑day school internship. The week was packed with lots of work as we are wrapping up phase 1 and 2 of teaching practice. It turned out to be an intense yet rewarding week, giving us a sense of accomplishment as we move forward.

INNOVATIVE WORK As part of an innovative teaching initiative, a rotating homophones board was introduced in the classroom to make language learning more interactive and enjoyable. The board displays pairs of homophones, and students rotate it to discover their meanings and example sentences. This hands-on activity not only strengthens vocabulary but also helps learners understand the correct usage of confusing word pairs in real-life contexts. The rotational model encourages active participation, peer learning, and self-correction, making the concept of homophones easier to grasp and remember.

TEACHING PRACTICE PHASE II. This week marks the beginning of the unit tests, and I've been assigned several classes to conduct the assessments, both in my regular and substitution periods. I'm focusing on ensuring the students are comfortable and familiar with the exam format, while also providing a supportive environment for them to showcase their knowledge. In addition to the tests, I've been conducting remedial teaching sessions to help students who struggled with the diagnostic test, and it's great to see them grasping the concepts. I've also been participating in serving meals to the students, which has been a wonderful opportunity to connect with them outside the classroom. The remedial sessions are proving to be particularly helpful, and I'm seeing a noticeable improvement in some of my students. Overall, it's a productive week, and I'm looking forward to seeing my students' growth and progress.
